Gambian midfielder Pa Assan Corr is on the verge of completing a permanent transfer from Estonian club Paide Linnameeskond to Slovakian Nike League outfit DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda, sources close to the deal have exclusively confirmed Footy-Africa.

The 18-year-old has been granted permission by Paide to travel to Slovakia on Friday, where he is expected to undergo a medical examination on Saturday.

Barring any last-minute setbacks, the deal will be finalized before the Slovakian transfer window deadline on Saturday, with Corr set to sign a four-year contract with DAC 1904, according to Footy-Africa’s exclusive information.

Corr has enjoyed a solid campaign in the Estonian Premium Liiga this season, scoring 3 goals in 17 appearances for Paide while logging 674 minutes of game time. His performances, marked by energy, versatility, and technical skill in midfield, have attracted attention beyond the Estonian borders.

His move to DAC 1904, a club known for competing at the top end of the Slovak league and regularly participating in European qualifiers, marks a significant step-up in competition. DAC has a strong history of nurturing and developing African talent, making it a potentially ideal environment for Corr’s continued growth.

This transfer also signals a growing pipeline of talent moving from the Baltic region to Central Europe, with clubs in Slovakia increasingly looking to leagues like Estonia’s for affordable, high-upside players.

Should all go according to plan, Corr will become the latest Gambian footballer to make a move into a more competitive European league—an encouraging trend for the national team setup and for the player himself, who continues to build momentum in his young career.
