Real Zaragoza have completed the permanent signing of Ghanaian midfielder Yussif Saidu, after the youngster’s eye-catching start to life in Spain’s Segunda División.
The 20-year-old, who joined from Dansoman XI Wise on loan, has signed a five-year contract keeping him at La Romareda until 2030.
Saidu first linked up with Zaragoza’s youth ranks last season, featuring for Deportivo Aragón before being promoted to the senior side. His assured displays during pre-season quickly earned him a regular place in Víctor Fernández’s squad.
He has made eight league appearances so far this campaign, impressing with his energy, pressing and ability on the ball.

In a statement, the club said:
“Saidu has now committed to Real Zaragoza for the remainder of this season and four more years. The club congratulates him on this important step in his career. We’re still together, Saidu!”
