Manchester United, with its new policy of recruiting young talent for its new project, has contacted the representatives of the young Croatian U16 international centre-back of Malian descent, Liam Claude Kanté, according to the Africafoot report.

The player has already been targeted by AS Monaco, as revealed before. Playing for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, Liam Claude Kanté has a profile that greatly appeals to the Manchester club. A centre-back with an imposing physique despite his young age, 15, he is also attracting interest from other major European clubs. VfB Stuttgart in Germany, West Ham in England, and Red Bull Salzburg in Austria are also very interested in the Paris native.

With interest from all these clubs, it will certainly be difficult for NK Lokomotiva Zagreb to retain Liam Claude Kanté, Croatian U17 champion in the 2024/25 season and a key player for the U17 national team. A true defensive stalwart, he is about to take a significant step in his football career.

Furthermore, other clubs such as Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split, and HNK Gorica are closely monitoring Liam Claude Kanté’s progress. He is considered one of the brightest prospects in Croatian football.

He recently won the Istria Youth Cup with NK Lokomotiva Zagreb, defeating the Danish side Brøndby 3-0 in the final.
