Philadelphia Union have completed the signing of Ghanaian striker Ezekiel Alladoh from Swedish side IF Brommapojkarna for what the club confirmed is the largest transfer fee in their history.

The 20-year-old has agreed a long-term contract through 2028, with club options for a further two years. He will join the Union’s squad once his International Transfer Certificate and P1 Visa are approved, and he will occupy an international roster slot.

Union head coach Bradley Carnell said Alladoh brings “pace, directness, and vertical movement”, adding that the 6ft 3in forward offers “strength and an undeniable presence” in the attack.

Alladoh arrives after a strong campaign in Sweden’s Allsvenskan, where he scored eight goals and provided one assist in 32 appearances. His form included a late match-winner away to IFK Göteborg on September, 21.

Before moving to Europe, Alladoh played for Accra Lions in the Ghana Premier League, scoring three goals and assisting one in 14 matches after joining from Atlantic Sports Academy in 2024. He made his professional debut that September and scored his first senior goal later that month with a 90th-minute equaliser against Karela United.

Brommapojkarna, known for producing talents such as Viktor Gyökeres, Dejan Kulusevski and Lucas Bergvall, saw Alladoh included in Ghana’s provisional squad for the 2024 WAFU Zone B U-20 Cup of Nations.
