Nigerian winger, Saliman Kayode, has completed the transfer from Slovakian side, Zeleziarne Podbrezova to Serbian topflight league outfit, FK Javor Ivanjica, Footy-Nigeria confirms.
The Nigerian born winger played out on loan with Kazakhstan side, Ordabasy, during the 2024/2025 season before returning back to his parent club, Zeleziarne Podbrezova, amidst transfer rumours.
Speaking with the Nigerian youngster, Saliman Kayode, talked through the reason for his choice of the Serbian league and what he expects after his summer move to FK Javor Ivanjica.
βAm delighted to have joined this great club, had choices of other clubs but I opted for FK Javor Ivanjica because Serbia is a home to me. I played in the Serbian league during the 2022/2023 season with Zlatibor and returning back to the league is like coming back to a familiar terrain, I have experience of the level of play in the Serbia League and adopting will not be a challenge. I returning back to the league to make a mark with FK Javor Ivanjica and I believe we can achieve great things this season as a clubβ Saliman concluded.
