Zambia national and Zesco United winger Pascal Phiri has reached a verbal agreement to join side Pyramids FC, Footy-Africa can can confrim.
Phiri has agreed to three-&-half years deal with the reigning CAF Champions League winners on a free transfer.
Following his impressive performances in the CAF confederation cup last year, Egyptian clubs started monitored but its Pyramids that have offered the youngster a deal which is yet to be finalized.
Zamalek and Al Ahly are the other sides that made enquiries about the winger.
Sources close to the player exclusively told Footy-Africa that Phiri and his handlers are happy with the deal. Although his long-term ambition is to move to Europe, he is willing to continue his development in North Africa.
The deal is now expected to sealed in the coming days.
