With Pisa trailing thanks to a late strike from Nikola Krstović, Durosinmi entered the contest in the 68th minute. Just 19 minutes later, he had already etched his name on the scoresheet. Rising above the Atalanta defense, he met a precise cross from Mehdi Léris and powered a header into the bottom corner, sparking wild celebrations among the home crowd.
Despite the weight of expectations tied to his record-breaking transfer, Durosinmi kept his composure during the post-match interview. Grinning while holding his Man of the Match trophy.
“Hello guys, I’m so grateful to have this as my first game, and I scored a goal, so I hope many more and let’s go,” he told the club’s media.
