Ghanaian forward Emmanuel Yeboah is likely to move to either Sweden or Serbia as he looks to revive his career following a difficult spell in Denmark. A source close to the player has exclusively told Footy-Africa.com that clubs in both countries are showing interest after Brondby IF made it clear the 22-year-old has no future at the club.

“It will be very difficult for Yeboah to find a place with us in Brondby. I am very open to discussing a change for him,” Brondby sporting director Benjamin Schmedes said on the club’s official podcast last week.

Yeboah joined Brondby in 2023 from Romanian side CFR Cluj but struggled to make an impact. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Vejle Boldklub, scoring just one goal. In total, he managed only three goals and one assist across the entire campaign.

His current contract with Brondby runs until June 2027, but his market value has dropped to €450,000 according to Transfermarkt.

Yeboah’s decline comes after a breakout year in 2023, when he impressed for both CFR Cluj and Ghana’s U-23 national team. At the time, he was widely seen as a future star for the Black Stars. However, the past two seasons have been challenging, marked by inconsistency and limited minutes on the pitch.

A move to Sweden or Serbia could offer a much-needed fresh start as Yeboah looks to rediscover his form and fulfil the promise he once showed.
