Abdoulie Manneh is set for a major career move as the Gambian forward is in advanced talks with Greek football powerhouse Olympiacos FC, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.

The 24-year-old has been a revelation this season at Mjällby AIF, where he has showcased his impressive abilities by scoring 6 goals and providing 3 assists in just 18 matches.

According to Footy-Africa’s exclusive information, Mjällby AIF and Olympiacos FC have already reached an agreement on a transfer fee of €3.5 million for Manneh, plus performances bonus, which are almost guaranteed, that would bring the fee up to €5.5 million, with the move poised to take place in the coming weeks.

The deal comes after a week of intense negotiations, with both clubs finalizing terms on a transfer that could benefit all parties involved. Manneh’s current market value is estimated at €1.5 million, which speaks to the rapid rise in his value due to his stellar performances this season.

Although the transfer is likely to go through with Olympiacos, the situation is far from straightforward. English side Stoke City has also shown significant interest, submitting a bid for Manneh which is still reportedly on the table. This adds an intriguing twist to the transfer saga, with Stoke possibly eyeing the forward as a potential reinforcement for their squad.

In addition to Stoke City, Manneh has also attracted attention from some of Europe’s most prominent clubs. Bournemouth, Brentford, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Fenerbahçe have all been monitoring the player’s progress throughout the season. Despite the interest from these clubs, it appears that Olympiacos have taken the lead, with both Mjällby and the Greek side looking to close the deal soon.
