Gambian forward Adama Sidibeh is set to begin a new chapter in his career after Stockport County reached a full agreement with St. Johnstone FC for his transfer, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.

The English League One side saw their improved offer accepted, bringing an end to negotiations that have unfolded over the past few days.

Sidibeh, 27, had been training alone while awaiting the outcome of talks, underlining his focus and determination to secure the move. With the deal now sealed, the striker is scheduled to undergo his medical today before officially joining the Hatters.

The transfer marks the end of Sidibeh’s stint with St. Johnstone, where he made a strong impression across both the Scottish Premiership and Championship.

Since joining the Saints in February 2024, the Gambian international registered 80 appearances and scored 18 goals, establishing himself as a reliable attacking option and a consistent performer.

Stockport County will be hoping Sidibeh’s physical presence, work rate, and eye for goal translate effectively to League One as they continue to strengthen their squad. For the player, the move represents an opportunity to test himself in a new environment and take the next step in his professional journey.
