Belgium-born Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers is believed to switch clubs before the transfer window deadline as his prolific goalscoring performance have attracted attention from different European teams, TeamTalk reports.
30-year-old attacker joined Rangers from Italian side Cremonese two years ago on a €5 million deal. Since then he scored 52 goals and registered 17 assists in 115 games across all domestic and international competitions.
According to the report, AEK Athens, Hellas Verona, and Cagliari are among the clubs trying to land Nigerian striker with the Greek side being a clear cut favorite.

The Greek giants had already held talks over a Dessers’s move earlier this summer, even agreeing on personal terms with the player, but Rangers declined the offer.
However, sources insist that AEK Athens remain open to signing and re-opening official negotiations with their Scottish colleagues.
The striker himself is said to be open to the move to Greece, motivated by the prospect of Champions League football and a fresh start in the Greek Super League, where AEK are obvious title contenders.
As Dessers is preparing for the move, several Serie A sides, including Hellas Verona and Cagliari, are sending scouts to attend Rangers’ games. Dessers’ physical presence and style of play are exactly what they are looking for.
