Victor Osimhen’s future continues to dominate headlines this summer, with the Nigerian striker at the center of one of football’s most anticipated transfer stories.
Following a successful loan stint with Galatasaray, where he played a key role in helping the Turkish giants clinch the league title, the 26-year-old forward has become a highly sought-after player. Reports suggest that several top clubs, including Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Juventus, are closely monitoring his situation.

Galatasaray themselves are still in the race. The Turkish champions are reportedly working on a deal to sign Osimhen permanently from Napoli, where he remains under contract.
As speculation swirls, one of Osimhen’s close friends and former Super Eagles teammate, Ogenyi Onazi, has shared his thoughts on where the striker should go next. Onazi, who currently plays in the United States for Charlotte Independence, believes Osimhen should move on from Napoli.
“I would not want Osimhen to return to Napoli,” Onazi said. “Hopefully, he gets a move away from the club and joins another team in Italy or, preferably, in England.”
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner, who made over 100 appearances for Lazio during his time in Serie A, revealed that he had spoken to Osimhen about his future during recent contract talks with Napoli.
“Yes, before he renewed his current contract, I spoke to him and told him that he had already done what Diego Maradona did—lead Napoli to the Italian title—and the Napoli fans will never forget that,” Onazi explained.
“I told him to leave because if anything goes south, they won’t remember what he has already done for the club.”
Onazi didn’t just advise a departure; he also had a specific destination in mind. Asked which club he believes would suit Osimhen best, he pointed to Arsenal as the ideal landing spot.
“If I were to pick a club for him, I would say Arsenal, as they need a striker and can play to his strengths. He will succeed with them,” he added.
