Footy-Africa can exclusively report that David Oluwaseyi Oludase will team up with AIK’s first team after signing for the Swedish Allsvenskan side from Nigerian academy Ikon Allah.
The 18-year-old winger joined after AIK reached an agreement with Ikon Allah and the player penned a deal until 31 December 2029.
Speaking with Footy-Africa, the Chairman of Ikon Allah Academy, Ayi Mohammed, expressed his delight at seeing the player continue his growth in Sweden.
“He is a technically skilled, left-footed right winger with good speed and a nice first touch. We are delighted about this deal and the player must continue to work hard. We believe that with hard work and commitment, the AIK fans will see the best of him. He’s a very good talent.”
“He’ll be with the first team, and that’s what we expected. We hope he can follow Zadok Yohanna’s path. This is part of some of the deals we have working on and we have a good relationship with AIK, so we will see,” he told Footy-Africa.
The player had a two-month trial with AIK and convinced the club of his great potential, but AIK Football’s recruitment manager, Miika Takkula, believes he’s not a finished product.
“What mainly needs to be developed is his actions and decision-making in the final third of the pitch. During the trial period, he showed a very good attitude and great commitment, which was an important part of our decision to sign a contract with him.”
David Oluwaseyi Oludase was born 2008, in his native Nigeria. The left-footed winger is one of the most sought-after young players in Nigeria.
