UAE Pro League giants Al-Nasr SC announced signing Ghanaian international and midfielder Bernard Mensah from Saudi Arabian side Al-Tai.

“Every team needs rhythm and most importantly a Maestro. Welcome Mensah to Al Nasr,” says the official statement.

The 30-year-old player signed a two-year-long deal on Tuesday and already expressed gratitude to his new club owners.

“Thanks for the trust Al-Nasr SC 25/26 let’s go,” he wrote in a brief but enthusiastic post on X.

Mensah arrives from Saudi Arabia, where he joined Al-Tai in 2023 to later move Al-Riyadh. Last season he took part on 30 matches across Saudi Pro League and King’s Cup, scoring five games and registering four assists.

Previously Mensah enjoyed spells in European clubs including Kayserispor, Besiktas, Kasimpasa, Atlético Madrid, Getafe and Vitória Guimarães. His current Transfermarkt value is estimated at €5 million.

Now Mensah is set to wear the famous blue of Al-Nasr and feature as one of the club’s senior figures, guiding a squad to the top of the UAE Pro League.
