Sanusi, 28, remains under contract with Porto until June 2027, although discussions over a potential extension are ongoing. Despite that, the Portuguese club could consider offers in the region of €7m during the upcoming transfer window.
The Nigeria international endured an injury-hit campaign but still featured 17 times in the Portuguese top flight, contributing one goal and one assist for Porto.
Atalanta are expected to be active in the market this summer as they prepare for another demanding domestic and European campaign, with Sanusi viewed as a player capable of adding pace, physicality and attacking support from the left side of defence.
