Everton in talks with OGC Nice over Kojo Peprah Oppong’s transfer

Everton are reportedly on the trail of the Ghanaian international central defender from OGC Nice Kojo Peprah Oppong, according to Africafoot.

Looking for defensive reinforcements, Everton have reportedly begun behind-the-scenes negotiations to recruit Kojo Peprah Oppong.

According to the report, the Merseyside club’s recruitment team traveled to Nice last weekend to discuss the possibility of signing the Ghanaian international with the Nice management.

In fact, Everton management reportedly even put an €8 million offer on the table to convince the Nice counterparts. The latter are reportedly willing to complete the deal on the condition that Kojo Peprah Oppong completes the season in the Côte d’Azur.

The 21-year-old defender’s team has been waiting for the clauses in his future contract. A five-year contract with an annual salary of €2.5 million is being discussed.
