FK Dukla Prague have completed the signing of highly rated Nigerian defender Pascal Chukwudi Okoli from Dino Sporting Club, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
Speaking exclusively to Footy-Africa, Dino Sporting Club chairman Samuel Columbus expressed pride in the player’s development and confidence in his future in Europe.
“Pascal Chukwudi Okoli is a product of discipline, hard work, and belief,” Columbus said. “From the moment he joined Dino Sporting Club, we knew he had the mentality and physical presence to succeed at the highest level.”
Columbus added that the move aligns with the club’s long-term vision of developing talent for top European leagues.
“This transfer to FK Dukla Prague is a proud moment for us as a club. The Czech Premiership is a competitive environment, and we believe Pascal has all it takes to adapt and grow. He is strong, intelligent, and tactically flexible, which modern football demands,” he added.
Okoli is expected to be integrated into the club’s U-21 setup while continuing his development.
This move further reinforces Dino Sporting Club’s reputation as a growing talent hub and highlights the increasing presence of young African defenders in European top-flight football.
Born on 19 May 2007, Okoli makes the move to the Czech Republic Premiership side on a three-year contract, marking a significant step in the young defender’s rapidly progressing career.
The deal is understood to be entirely separate from the transfer involving Amos Adzuu, with Dino Sporting Club confirming that both moves were negotiated independently.
Okoli, known for his strength, tactical awareness and versatility, primarily operates as a left-back but is equally comfortable playing as a left centre-back, a trait that attracted strong interest from Dukla Prague’s technical team.
