Nigerian international Samuel Chukwueze could join Atalanta Bergamo in the coming days, as the summer transfer window draws to a close, according to exclusive information from Africafoot.
The Bergamo club has contacted AC Milan management in an attempt to sign the 26-year-old. Atalanta’s management is preparing to make a β¬12 million offer to the AC Milan board to complete the deal. A four-year contract with an optional one-year contract is being discussed.
It’s reported that Chukwueze, who is under contract with the Lombardy club until June 2028, wants to change direction this summer and would welcome the idea of ββjoining Atalanta.

Meanwhile, renowned journalist Luka Cohen reports that AC Milan is also in talks with Fulham over Chuckuwueze’s transfer.
“Figures are being discussed with Fulham. The deal is well underway with the English club. It could be closed soon. It’s practically a done deal for Chuckwueze to Fulham. Permanent transfer for β¬23 million,” he claims.

Chukwueze joined Milan from Spanish side Villarreal ahead of the 2023/24 season. Last season, he managed 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring just three goals and providing two assists β numbers that fell short of the clubβs expectations.
