Gambian striker Abdoulie Joof has officially completed a permanent move to Kenyan Premier League giants Tusker FC from Gambia Armed Forces FC, marking the next chapter in his promising career.
The prolific forward earned the transfer after an outstanding 2025/26 season, finishing as the Gambia Football Federation League One top scorer and attracting interest from several clubs in Europe.
Despite the overseas attention, Joof opted to continue his development with one of East Africaโs most successful clubs after being convinced by Tusker FCโs long-term sporting vision.
Speaking after completing the move, the striker expressed his excitement about joining the Kenyan outfit.
โIโm happy joining the team too. They are a big club in Kenya, and every player wants to join them. I am so much happy when I was told about the project of the team. So I wasted no time in joining them.โ
Joofโs arrival is a significant boost for Tusker FC as they strengthen their squad ahead of the new campaign, while the move also provides the Gambian forward with an opportunity to showcase his goalscoring ability in one of East Africaโs most competitive leagues.
After dominating the scoring charts in The Gambia, Joof will now be aiming to make a similar impact in Kenya and continue his rise as one of the countryโs emerging attacking talents.
