Ghana U-20 midfielder Augustine Boamah has arrived in Spain to begin a specialised training programme at an international academy in Valencia, his agent Daniel Boifio Jr has exclusively told Footy-Africa.
Boamah flew to Spain and has already arrived in Valencia as part of a European development programme that will see him train with three clubs.
According to Boifio Jr, the midfielder will undergo a full training programme as he continues to attract interest from European clubs.
“He will have a full training programme with about three clubs. We will know which club he joins by December or for the January window,” Boifio Jr told Footy-Africa.
The Valencia programme will give Boamah the opportunity to experience a different football environment while further developing his technical and tactical qualities.
“He is currently having a training programme at an international academy in Valencia,” Boifio Jr added.
The young midfielder has been building his reputation in Ghana, with his game characterised by composure on the ball, creativity in midfield and a strong work rate without possession.
Boamah is also part of the Ghana U20 setup, and the European experience represents another important step in his development.
A decision on his next club is expected by December or during the January transfer window, depending on how the training and trial programmes progress.
