Ghanaian defender Oscar Naasei Oppong is set to join Real Madrid after the Spanish giants reached an agreement with Granada over a €2 million transfer, Footy-Africa can report.
Sources have confirmed to Footy-Africa that Granada initially placed a €3 million price tag on the 21-year-old, but Real Madrid successfully negotiated the fee down to €2 million.
The agreement also includes future sell-on clause, which will give Granada a percentage of any future transfer involving Naasei.
Naasei has completed his medical and is now set to finalise his move to the European giants, with the defender expected to initially join Real Madrid Castilla.
Real Madrid had been leading the race for the Ghanaian despite interest from Rayo Vallecano and a German club.

Naasei joined Granada from Ghanaian club Emmanuel City in 2023 and progressed through the Spanish club’s youth system before establishing himself with the first team.
He enjoyed an impressive 2025/26 campaign, making 37 appearances and starting 34 matches in LaLiga Hypermotion.
The versatile defender, who can operate at centre-back and right-back, had also featured in Granada’s opening two matches of the new season before completing his transfer.
Real Madrid see Naasei as a player with significant potential, with his initial move to Castilla expected to provide the platform for his continued development within the club’s system.
