There appears to be light at the end of the tunnel for Super Eagles forward Emanuel Dennis, who is set to leave Nottingham Forest before the end of the current transfer window, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
Footy-Africa has learned from sources close to the player that he is likely leaving Forest before the end of the transfer window, with the club also looking to offload Dennis permanently rather than risk losing him on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Former Super Eagles striker Gambo Mohammed, speaking exclusively to Footy-Africa, urged Dennis to be cautious with his next move as this decision will be key to reigniting his career.
“I like the boy a lot, as he is one of the best players to have come out of Northern Nigeria. Things have not been very good for him recently. He is fast and skilful, and I cannot really say what the issue is with him at Forest because I have not seen him play for a long time. But that is football for you. Every player goes through rough times and this is not different. However, whatever decision he takes, he has to be very careful about it,” Mohammed said in the exclusive interview with Footy-Africa.
“I just heard from you that Nottingham Forest are looking to sell him. I will also like him to move from there, but he should be careful of his next destination. He needs to start playing so we can see him back in the Super Eagles again,” he added.
Interest in the speedy winger has come from clubs in Turkey, while a move to Saudi Arabia is also being discussed.
Dennis has endured a difficult spell since joining Forest from Watford during the 2021/22 season.
Despite arriving with high expectations, he has failed to establish himself at the City Ground, spending time out on loan at İstanbul Başakşehir, a return stint at Watford, and most recently Blackburn Rovers, where he played the latter part of last season.
Since joining Nottingham Forest, Dennis has made 25 appearances for the club, scoring three goals and providing three assists.
The 27-year-old has not featured for Forest this term and has not even made the bench in their opening two Premier League fixtures, fuelling speculation about his future.
