Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho has reached an agreement with Samsunspor on a contract with an annual salary of €1.2 million and is set to move to Turkey on a permanent deal, journalist George Tsarouchas reports.

According to his information, right now Samsunspor representatives are reportedly in discussions with their counterparts at the Spanish side regarding a €3.5 million transfer.

The 28-year-old’s Transfermarkt value is estimated at €4.5 million, but the fact that he has one year left on his contract could work in Samsunspor’s favor in negotiations over the transfer fee.

Iheanacho was reportedly on the radar of Pumas UNAM. However, according to exclusive information from Africafoot, there has been no contact between the Mexican club and the player’s representatives.

Last season on loan at MiddlesbroughΒ Iheanacho played 15 games, registering one goal and making two assists.

At Sevilla in the first half of the campaign, he netted three goals in 11 appearances across all domestic competitions.
