Nigerian international and forward Emmanuel Dennis could be on his way out of Premier League side Nottingham Forest, following formal interest from French League One outfit RC Lens, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
The French side have made their desire known and inquired about the player’s situation with Nottingham Forest. The latter have given the green light to Lens to talk to Dennis, as they are open to letting him depart, should an agreement be reached by all parties involved. His contract at Nottingham Forest is on till the summer of 2026.
A source at the player’s representatives, HCM Sports Management, has exclusively told Footy-Africa that Lens have indeed made their intentions clear, and that the negotiations are positive. The French side intend to sign the player on a three-year contract.

The 27-year-old has played only 25 matches for Nottingham Forest since joining them in the 2022-2023 season from Watford. In that time, he has had loan stints at Blackburn Rovers, Istanbul Basaksehir and Watford. He has previously played at Koln, Club Brugge and Zorya Luhansk. At Blackburn last season, he played just seven matches across all competitions.
With the Nigerian senior team, the Super Eagles, Dennis, whose transfermarkt valuation is now estimated at β¬2.5 million, has accumulated eight caps since his debut in 2019, scoring one goal in the national team colors.
