Career

Youth & Early Career

Foster began his youth career with Orlando Pirates (South Africa). He made his senior debut for Orlando Pirates in 2017.

Professional Path

2017–2019 Orlando Pirates – gained first senior experience.
2019 Moved to AS Monaco (initially Monaco II), then loaned to Cercle Brugge in Belgium.
2020–2022 Played for Vitória de Guimarães (Portugal), including time with the B-side.
2021–2022 Loan to K.V.C. Westerlo (Belgium), then permanent in 2022.
January 2023

Signed for Burnley (initial transfer fee – €7 million, rising to €10 million after promotion) – making him reportedly the most expensive South African player at the time.

October 26, 2023 Signed a new five-year deal with Burnley, contract through June 2028.

Recent Performance

In the 2023–24 Premier League season: scored – 5 goals and provided 3 assists in 24 top-flight appearances.

2024–25 Championship season: contributed with three goals and five assists as Burnley pushed for (and secured) promotion back to the Premier League.

In the current season, Foster has so far scored two goals and assisted once in 12 games.

International Career

Foster represents the South Africa national football team, the Bafana Bafana, and Nas featured 24 times, netting eight goals with one assist.
