Gambian youngster Mamin Sanyang is poised to begin a new chapter in his career after agreeing a permanent move to Polish top-flight side Raków Częstochowa, following the mutual termination of his contract with GKS Tychy, announced on Tuesday, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.
The 22-year-old brings an end to his two-season spell with GKS Tychy, where he made 26 appearances across all competitions. During that period, Sanyang contributed three goals and two assists, showing flashes of his attacking quality and versatility despite limited game time.
A former FC Bayern Munich youth player, Sanyang’s background at one of Europe’s elite academies has long marked him out as a player with strong technical foundations and tactical awareness.
His move to Raków Częstochowa represents a significant step forward, offering him the opportunity to compete at a higher level and reignite his development in a more demanding environment.
Raków, known for their competitive edge in Polish football in recent seasons, will be hoping Sanyang’s pace, creativity, and international experience add depth and dynamism to their attacking options.
