Former Nigeria youth international Muhamed Tijani faces another uncertain transfer window as the summer approaches, with his future once again hanging in the balance, Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal.

A source close to Diamond Sports, who exclusively manage the player, told Footy-Africa that a summer exit from Slavia is all but certain, although discussions between the player’s representatives and the Czech club are still ongoing.

“I think Tijani needs to find a permanent home as he has been moving a lot in the last three years. He needs a lot of stability at this stage of his career,” the source said. “The Czech club want around €300,000 for him and are prioritising a sale rather than another loan move.”

“He did well in Hungary and the team wants him back on loan, but Slavia prefer an outright deal. That is where things stand at the moment. There is also interest from other clubs in Hungary and within the Czech Republic. It promises to be a very interesting summer for Tijani and Slavia Prague,” he concluded.

The lanky forward has been on the move across multiple clubs in recent years, and it now appears increasingly likely that he could be set for yet another switch.

At 25, Tijani is at a crucial stage of his career where stability is becoming as important as opportunity, yet his trajectory continues to be defined by short-term spells and loan deals.

The striker remains under contract with Slavia Prague, but his time there has been largely spent away from the club. He has previously been loaned out to Plymouth Argyle and Sigma Olomouc, and is currently playing his trade with Hungarian side Nyíregyháza Spartacus FC.

With his current loan deal nearing its end, Tijani is expected to return to Prague. However, sources close to Footy-Africa indicate that Slavia are keen to part ways with the forward permanently and are looking to sell him this summer in a bid to cut their losses.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his long-term future, Tijani has impressed during his stint in Hungary, scoring eight goals in 14 appearances while also contributing three assists.

His performances have not gone unnoticed, with Nyíregyháza Spartacus reportedly interested in extending his stay. However, their preference for another loan deal clashes with Slavia Prague’s insistence on a permanent transfer.

Currently valued at around €400,000 by Transfermarkt, Tijani’s price tag is considered beyond the financial reach of his current club, complicating negotiations further.
