In a thrilling development this summer, 19-year-old left-winger Muhammed Colley has made a permanent move to Frosinone Calcio in Italy’s Serie B, Footy-Africa can confirm. Having previously played for Scafatese, Colley has taken the leap to one of Italy’s well-established clubs, with a bright future ahead of him.

Frosinone, known for its consistent presence in the Italian top flights, presents a new challenge for the young talent. Since joining the club, Colley has already made his mark with the Primavera team, scoring once and providing an assist in just three matches. His early performances have fuelled optimism that he could be a key player for Frosinone in the near future.

Speaking exclusively to Footy Africa, Colley shared his excitement about the move, detailing how quickly the decision to join Frosinone came about.

“When they reached out, I didn’t think twice,” he said. “It has always been my dream to either play in the Italian Serie A or Serie B. We all know that the club is regular in the top flight. I have seen a convincing project here where I can develop and eventually make it to the first team.”

Colley’s decision to join Frosinone is not just about playing in Italy’s top leagues; it’s also about his personal growth and long-term goals. The young forward has a clear vision for his career.

“This is a dream come true. I want to live my best football here and hopefully rise to the top leagues someday,” he stated.

However, for now, Colley’s focus remains firmly on Frosinone and his commitment to helping the team succeed.

“But for now, I am focused on Frosinone and I will hold to help the team win something this season,” he added, showcasing his team-oriented mentality and ambition to make a positive impact right away.

Frosinone’s decision to bring Colley on board highlights the club’s commitment to building a squad for both immediate and long-term success. With his talent, determination, and clear vision for his future, Colley is certainly one to watch as he looks to fulfil his dreams in Italian football. The next few seasons could prove to be pivotal in his rise to the top leagues of Europe.

As Colley continues to impress with Frosinone’s Primavera team, fans will be eager to see how the young winger adapts to Serie B football, and whether he can make the step-up to the first team sooner rather than later. With his eye on both personal and team success, Colley’s journey at Frosinone could be just beginning, but the foundations for greatness are already being laid.
