Musa Juwara is set to continue his career in Poland’s top division, as the 22-year-old forward completed his medical on Monday morning ahead of his transfer to Pogon Szczecin from Danish side Vejle Boldklub (VB), as per Footy-Africa exclusive information.
The move is expected to be officially confirmed on Tuesday, marking the next chapter in the young Gambian international’s promising career.
Juwara, who has just one year remaining on his contract with VB, is poised to complete a transfer valued at around €850,000 — in line with his current market value. Despite attracting interest from several clubs across Europe and beyond, including potential moves to Scotland and Saudi Arabia, Juwara has opted for the Polish Ekstraklasa, where he will enjoy not only a fresh challenge but also a significantly improved salary package.
The 22-year-old forward has built a solid reputation over the past two seasons at Vejle Boldklub, impressing fans and scouts alike with his performances in Denmark’s top tier. During his time with VB, Juwara scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists, showcasing his versatility in attack and his ability to contribute both as a goal scorer and playmaker.
Prior to his stint in Denmark, Juwara spent time in Italy, where he developed his early footballing skills as part of Serie A club Bologna’s youth setup. His experience in Italy, combined with his recent development in Denmark, has shaped him into a well-rounded forward capable of making an impact in multiple attacking roles.
