Azerbaijani side Neftçi PFK have completed the signing of Nigerian teenagers Istifanis Freedom and Ope Ezekiel, Footy-Africa Understands.

Footy-Africa gathered that pair finalised their moves over the weekend after arriving in Baku, with both players joining on loan deals that include options to make the transfers permanent.

Footy-Africa can confirm that Neftçi PFK has the option of signing the players on a two year contract at the end of their loan spell.

Centre-back Freedom, 18, moves from Nigerian club Broad City, where he impressed with a series of assured performances in domestic competition.

Winger Ezekiel, 19, joins from 36 Lions and is regarded as one of the standout prospects from Nigeria’s academy circuit, having caught the eye in several youth tournaments.
