It’s already been a long-lasting drama with turns and twists surrounding the transfer of the Nigerian striker. Atalanta rejected two bids from Milan, having no desire to boost their rival.Β
Last week it was reported that a surprise candidate has emerged as Nottingham Forest head coach Nuno Espirito Santo looked to bolster the offensive depth with Lookman.
Despite being under contract until 2027 with Italian side Atalanta, Lookman publicly informed the clubβs top brass of his desire to leave this summer.
Across 40 appearances last season, Lookman has netted 20 times with six assists sending Atalanta to the Champions League.
