Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal that multiple Nice players are considering leaving the Ligue 1 club following a violent incident at the team’s training ground.
According to reports, more than 400 supporters stormed the facility on Sunday, confronting the squad after their 3–1 defeat to Lorient. Nigerian striker Terem Moffi and his teammate Jérémie Boga were reportedly punched, kicked and spat at during the unrest.

Both players have since been signed off on medical leave. Moffi is expected to be absent until Sunday, ruling him out of the match against Angers, while Boga is set to return after five days.
Speculation over their futures has intensified, with indications that both Moffi and Boga are now open to leaving the club. A source close to the team exclusively told Footy-Africa that Moffi is “unhappy with the situation” and has expressed a desire to move on.
The source added that Nice players held an emergency meeting on Wednesday, during which the squad unanimously backed their attacked teammates. Some players are said to have indicated they would be willing to leave the club in solidarity.
“The entire dressing room is unhappy that their teammates were targeted,” the source said.
Moffi, who joined Nice from Lorient, only recently returned from an ACL injury sustained in October. He has made 10 league appearances this season, scoring twice.
