Ghana winger Osman Bukari is open to considering a move away from Widzew Lodz, with Red Star Belgrade among the clubs showing interest, Footy-Africa understands.

Bukari joined Widzew in December 2025 for a reported €5.5 million, a record incoming transfer in the Polish league, but has struggled to make an impact. He has featured just six times without registering a goal or assist, and has played only four minutes across his last two matches.

A source close to the player exclusively told Footy-Africa that the situation has left him frustrated, although no final decision has been made yet.

“He is not happy with how things are going, that is clear,” the source said. “But at the same time, he is staying professional and focused.”

The source added that a return to Red Star is not ruled out, given his strong connection with the Serbian club:

“If Red Star comes, it is something he will consider. He knows the club, he did well there, so it is a natural link. But nothing is decided yet.”

Bukari enjoyed a successful spell in Belgrade between 2022 and 2024, scoring 25 goals and providing 20 assists in 78 appearances, while winning back-to-back league and cup titles.

For now, his future remains open, with discussions expected in the coming weeks.
