Nigeria forward Salim Fago Lawal is expected to complete a move to Czech side Viktoria Plzeň in the coming days after an agreement was reached with NK Istra 1961, Footy-Africa can exclusively report.
Sources close to the negotiations disclosed to Footy-Africa that the 22-year-old is due to travel to the Czech Republic on Sunday, with a medical scheduled for Monday.
The transfer is expected to be announced once the medical has been completed, with Lawal set to replace Rafiu Durosinmi, who has left the club to join Pisa.

Viktoria Plzeň will pay a guaranteed €2.4m for the forward, with the deal potentially rising to €3m in add-ons. The fee represents a record sale for NK Istra 1961.
Fago, who previously played for Mavlon FC, has scored six goals in 18 appearances this season. He is capable of playing across the front line, operating as a central striker or on either wing.
The forward came to wider attention after impressing at the 2023 Under-20 World Cup with Nigeria before later earning a call-up to the senior national team for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
He made his senior international debut against Uganda in Nigeria’s final group match.
