Super Eagles winger Yira Collins Sor in an exclusive interview with Footy-Africa has played down rumours linking him with a summer move away from KRC Genk, insisting that his full focus remains on finishing the season strongly with the Belgian side.
Sor has been linked with a possible transfer in recent months, with reports in Belgium suggesting interest from clubs in Turkey and Germany ahead of the summer transfer window. The Nigerian winger, currently valued at around β¬3 million, remains under contract with Genk until the summer of 2027.

Despite the speculation, the former Slavia Prague winger says transfer talk is not something he is paying attention to at this stage of the season.
“Yes, I have heard about the rumours of a club in Turkey being interested in me, but the German club rumour is new to me. I have not heard anything like that,” Sor exclusively told Footy-Africa. “Right now, I do not bother about things like that because I am fully concentrating on what lies ahead for me here at Genk.”
“Personally, I feel this is not the time for me or anyone within the team to think about transfers. We are all focused on the same thing, and we only have one goal. We have a game on the 31st of this month, and we are looking forward to it. Any discussion about a transfer is not what I am interested in right now, even though I have heard of interest from Turkey.”
Sor joined Genk in the 2022/23 season from Slavia Prague and has remained an important player for the club, despite battling a serious injury during his time in Belgium.
