Franco-Ghanaian winger Stredair Appuah has completed a season-long loan move to Belgian outfit Lommel SK from Italian club Palermo, handing the 22-year-old a fresh opportunity to continue his development ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
The pacy wide forward arrives in Belgium after returning to Palermo from a temporary spell with French side Valenciennes, with the Serie B club opting to send him out again in search of consistent first-team football. Under the terms of the agreement, Appuah is expected to rejoin Palermo once the loan expires at the end of the season.
Comfortable across the frontline but most dangerous from the right wing, where he drives inside onto his stronger left foot, Appuah offers Lommel pace, direct running and attacking versatility as they strengthen their options for the new season.

Born in Sarcelles, France, the talented attacker honed his game through youth academies in both France and England before forcing his way into senior football. His rise earned him a โฌ1.5 million move from Nantes to Palermo in August 2024 after progressing through the French club’s academy into the first team.
Standing at 1.85 metres, Appuah already boasts experience in both Ligue 1 and Italy’s Serie B, while he also featured in the UEFA Youth League during his formative years. His spells across French football have further equipped him with valuable competitive experience, operating effectively on either flank.
The move sees Appuah continue his European journey in Belgium, where Lommel will hope his pace and creativity can provide an added spark in attack throughout the campaign.
