Nigerian teenager Sodiq Lawal is set to join Swedish club Kalmar FF from Beyond Limits Academy, Footy-Africa understands.
Footy-Africa can exclusively reveal that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs, with the transfer expected to be finalised in the coming days.
Lawal has attracted interest from several European sides following a series of impressive performances for the Nigerian academy team.
Sources told Footy-Africa he is one of four Beyond Limits players lined up for moves to Europe.
The 17-year-old midfielder has risen through the ranks at Beyond Limits and currently captains the side. He has stood out in the Gothia Cup, the Creative Championship League and the Nigerian National League.
Lawal, who turns 18 next week, had also been tracked by Rapid Vienna and a number of Scandinavian clubs, but Kalmar FF have emerged as his preferred destination.
Kalmar are in the process of rebuilding their squad ahead of the new season, with Lawal seen as one of several potential additions during the winter transfer window.
The Swedish club begin their 2026 Allsvenskan campaign at home to Västerås SK at the Guldfågeln Arena.
