Nigeria forward Terem Moffi is scheduled to undergo a medical ahead of a proposed move to Portuguese giants FC Porto, Footy-Africa can exclusively report.
The OGC Nice striker has agreed a loan deal with the Primeira Liga side that includes an option to buy next summer.
Footy-Africa gathered that the move is understood to be at an advanced stage, with final paperwork being completed as Moffi travels to Portugal for his medical today.
Once the medical is completed, the 25-year-old is expected to sign the necessary documents, with an official announcement to follow.
Moffi has not featured for Nice since December after an incident at the club’s training ground, where he was reportedly targeted by a group of supporters.
The Nigeria international is believed to have expressed his desire to leave the Ligue 1 side following that episode.
The forward had attracted interest from Turkish Super Lig club Besiktas and Ligue 1 side FC Paris, but is understood to have opted for a move to Porto.
