Last season, Victor Osimhen revitalized his career at Turkish side Galatasaray, winning both the league and cup titles while scoring 35 goals—a club record for foreign players. Now, it’s time to either return to the top level or secure a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia. Footy Africa analyses the Super Eagles striker’s options.

The release clause for the powerful forward, which any interested club must pay to Napoli, is €75 million. Based on publicly available information, here are five clubs that have shown particlualr interest in the 26-year-old striker.

1. Juventus

Juventus have shown the most determined interest in the forward, with the Turin club reportedly working on a potential double move: signing both Osimhen and luring Antonio Conte back from Napoli. A return to Juventus appeals to the 55-year-old coach, and the Bianconeri are equally interested in him.

Osimhen himself is said to have placed Juventus at the top of his list of priorities, and the prospect of working with Conte only strengthens the club’s position. Juventus are also willing to pay the striker’s €75 million release clause, and club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is directly involved in the negotiations.

2. Al-Hilal (Saudi Arabia)

According to Foot Mercato, Saudi giants Al-Hilal are in contact with Osimhen, and negotiations are progressing well. The move could prove to be a golden parachute for the striker, as the club is offering a reported salary of €35 million—a major increase from the €11 million he currently earns.

Interestingly, the funds initially allocated for this move were meant for Mohamed Salah, who is also open to leaving the Premier League for Saudi Arabia.

3. Manchester United

English clubs are among the most interested in Osimhen, and Manchester United were the first to declare their intentions. After a disappointing season, Ruben Amorim’s side is undergoing a major rebuild and desperately needs a clinical striker, as the current forwards have struggled to convert chances.

United are expected to sell several assets to finance the transfer. However, their failure to qualify for European competitions next season could be a turn-off for Osimhen. Still, several pundits and former players have endorsed the potential move.

According to Tuttosport, the club has already reached a salary agreement with Osimhen’s representatives.

4. Chelsea

Chelsea have secured a spot in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League and are looking to strengthen their attacking options. They had previously contacted Osimhen’s entourage, but under the new management, the club was more financially cautious and declined to meet his wage demands.

Champions League qualification could change that stance. However, the London club is also considering younger targets. Still, Osimhen remains in their top three priorities, according to internal sources.

5. Galatasaray

After Osimhen’s stellar season in Turkey, where he helped Galatasaray win the league and cup, the club would love to retain him. The striker feels very comfortable in Istanbul, where he’s currently playing on loan.

However, Galatasaray cannot afford to activate the €75 million buyout clause.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, the club is exploring creative solutions to convince Napoli—but for now, a permanent deal appears unlikely.

Conclusion

Victor Osimhen is almost certain to leave Napoli this summer, following a public falling-out with the club. Multiple top-tier teams are ready to meet the financial demands of both Napoli and the player.

At the moment, Juventus appear to be in pole position. Osimhen is already familiar with Serie A, and the chance to face his former club after a bitter split could serve as extra motivation. Still, other contenders may present compelling offers that change the equation.

All these dynamics make Osimhen’s next move one of the most captivating sagas of the upcoming transfer window.
