Club Brugge are demanding €2 million and a future sell-on clause for Belgian-Ghanaian winger Jesse Bisiwu as Barcelona continue their pursuit of the teenager, Footy-Africa can exclusively confirm.
The Spanish champions have identified the 18-year-old as one of their priority targets for the future and have been monitoring his development closely over the past year.
However, Club Brugge are determined to maximise the value of one of the most promising talents in their academy system. Despite Bisiwu’s current market value being estimated at €800,000, sources close to the player had indicated that the Belgian club believe the winger is worth significantly more.
Brugge are seeking a transfer fee of €2 million and are also pushing for a sell-on clause that would allow them to benefit from any future transfer involving the player.
The Belgian club’s position is strengthened by the fact that Bisiwu remains under contract until June 2027, giving them little pressure to negotiate a quick sale.
Bisiwu enjoyed a promising 2025/26 season with Club NXT, making 15 appearances in the Challenger Pro League. He also impressed in the UEFA Youth League, where he scored three goals and registered one assist in eight appearances.

The left winger has represented Belgium at U15, U16, U17, U18 and U19 levels, but remains eligible to represent Ghana internationally.
Barcelona’s interest has been longstanding, with sporting director Deco previously meeting the player’s family while the club’s scouting department continues to track his progress.
Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing, with Barcelona expected to consider an improved offer as they seek to secure the signature of one of Belgian football’s most exciting young prospects.
