From there, the squad travelled directly to Providence, Rhode Island, where they have established their tournament headquarters.

With little time to dwell on their opening success, head coach Carlos Queiroz has already begun preparations for the next challenge. The Portuguese tactician scheduled a recovery session at Bryant University on Thursday evening as the squad began the process of regrouping ahead of their highly anticipated encounter with England.
The victory over Panama has injected renewed belief into the camp, with Queiroz praising the determination and resilience shown by his players to grind out all three points. Forward Antoine Semenyo has also switched his attention to the Three Lions, insisting the Black Stars are ready to “prove a point” against one of the tournament favourites.
