Ivory Coast teenage sensation Yan Diomande could be on the verge of a move to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days once the European champions agree a transfer fee with RB Leipzig.
The 19-year-old has reportedly agreed a five-year deal at the French club, potentially keeping him until 2031 despite strong interest from Premier League sides Liverpool and Manchester United.
Profile
Diomande only joined Leipzig last summer from Spanish side Leganes and he immediately became an important player for the Red Bull club. He enjoyed a breakthrough campaign, where he produced 19 goal contributions in the Bundesliga and earned the Rookie of the Season award.
The 19-year-old has carried that form to the national team, helping Ivory Coast reach the knockout rounds of the FIFA World Cup for the first time in their history. He won the Player of the Match award in their opening 1-0 win over Ecuador and also played crucial roles in their next two group games, before they were eventually knocked out by Norway in the Round of 32.

Diomandeβs pace, versatility and direct dribbling are the qualities that have made him one of the most sought after players during the transfer window, with interest from France and England intensifying over the past few weeks.
Potential transfer breakdown
According to Transfermarkt, Diomande is valued at around β¬90 million, which ranks him as the most valuable African footballer in the world and also the third most valuable player in the German Bundesliga.
However, Leipzig are reportedly holding out for a fee in the region of β¬130 million this summer and have already rejected a β¬100 million offer from Liverpool for his signature.
PSG have already agreed personal terms on a five-year contract and are negotiating an agreement on a fee with Leizpig, dealing a huge blow to the hopes of Manchester United and Liverpool, who will now be forced to move on to other alternatives.
