The Nigerian striker rose to prominence in the 2024/25 season, after an impressive season with the Blue-White, where he netted 23 times in all competitions and won the Ebony award as the best African player in the Belgian league.

Despite starring for the club last season, the 24-year-old has been limited to four substitute appearances this season, with the club willing to part ways with him.

Where could the Nigerian star end up by the end of the summer transfer window? Here are five clubs that could land the Super Eagles star.

“It’s very frustrating,” Arokodare publicly critisizes Genk

Atalanta (Italy)

2024 Europa League winners Atalanta have openly expressed interest in signing the top Nigerian striker.

La Dea has lost the services of two strikers this summer, with Mateo Retegui and Roberto Piccoli leaving the club to join Al-Qadsiah and Cagliari respectively and have identified Arokodare as a top replacement.

Fulham (England)

English Premier League side Fulham are also keen on signing Tolu Arokodare. The Nigerian striker has previously expressed his preference for a move to England and could be on his way to London in the coming weeks.

With Rodrigo Muniz likely to leave the club, the Cottagers could line up a transfer for Arokodare, who could be tempted by the offer of playing alongside Nigerian teammates Alex Iwobi and Calvin Bassey.

Burnley (England)

After recently making a return to the English Premier League, Burnley have identified Tolu Arokodare as a potential target in attack, as they look to strengthen their squad and avoid immediate relegation into the EFL Championships.

Manager Scott Parker has identified the Nigerian as a top target for the number nine role and the Clarets could meet Genk’s £25 million valuation before the end of the transfer window.

AS Monaco (France)

Ligue 1 giants AS Monaco were previously interested in signing the Nigerian striker in January and could make a swoop for the 24-year-old this summer.

Arokodare could favor a move to the France, given the league’s track record of developing African talents.

Fenerbahce (Turkey)

Turkish league giants Fenerbahce have also emerged as strong admirers for the Nigerian striker.

The Yellow Canaries look to strengthen their attack to challenge Galatasaray for the league title and Arokodare could be attracted by the idea of playing under the guidance of Jose Mourinho.
