AS Monaco have rejected a €27 million offer from Stuttgart for Nigerian striker international striker George Ilenikhena, according to Foot Mercato.

Signed last summer for €19 million from Antwerp, the 19-year-old has shown promising potential. Having scored six goals in 31 games last season, Ilenikhena has appeared in the sights of several European clubs.

It is reported that AS Monaco’s bosses were not impressed with the €27 million offer, that included bonuses. At this point, the club is unwilling to part ways with the player, whom they consider one of the key pieces for the long-term project.

Despite interest from other major European clubs such as Bayer Leverkusen, Fiorentina, and Villarreal, AS Monaco have made it clear that its young striker is not for sale.

Monaco’s management appears unwilling to part ways with the Lagos native, who remains with the club until the summer of 2029 under current contract.

His market value is estimated at €15 million. His annual income at AS Monaco is reported to be around €690,000.
