Senior Career

2020–2021 Moved from Génération Foot to FC Metz in France. Made his debut in November 2020 in Ligue 1.
2021–: Signed by Tottenham Hotspur in August 2021. Initially loaned back to Metz for the 2021–2022 season.
2022–2023 onward Broke into the Tottenham first team from January 2023; gradually became a regular in midfield.

Recent performances

By end of 2024/25 season: recorded over 100 appearances (all competitions) for Tottenham, scoring 9 goals. This season, he has so far played 22 games, scoring twice with two assists.

In the 2023/24 Premier League season, he played 34 league games (27 starts), contributing 3 goals and 3 assists.

He opened his Tottenham Premier League scoring account with a goal in a 2–0 home win vs. Manchester United in August 2023.

International Career

Sarr represents the Senegal national football team, the Lions of Teranga.
