20-year-old Nigerian forward Samuel Isife has signed a three-year contract with Czech Republic club FK Dukla Praha, a deal that will keep the promising youngster at Stadion Juliska until 2028, Footy-Africa reports.
Isife’s top performances with Czech outfit FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim over the past six months earned him a rise in the transfer market, with FK Dukla Praha moving quickly to secure his signature ahead of the new season.
In an exclusive interview with the player’s agent, Cem Sagar, CEO of Diamond Sports Management, he discussed Isife’s rapid rise to prominence, describing it as the hallmark of a top-level player destined for success.
“To go from the second division to the first division in the Czech Republic within six months shows how talented he is. We believe he has the ability to play for a Championship or Europa League-level team within a year. His style is very attractive to watch,” Sagar said.
Known for his energetic style of play and rock-solid defending from the right-back position, Isife becomes the second Nigerian player to join FK Dukla Praha, following midfielder Samson Tijani.
Isife began his football journey with Nigerian club 36Lions before moving abroad to sign his first professional contract in 2024 with FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim, a second-division side in the Czech Republic.
After six months at the club, the Nigerian has now completed a move to Czech topflight side FK Dukla Praha on a three-year deal.
