Footy-Africa understands that the 12th-placed Belgian outfit are keen on the youngster, who has emerged as one of the most highly sought-after talents in Nigeria following a string of impressive performances for the academy.
​It is understood that the two clubs are already in active contact regarding a potential move. Sources suggest that the teenage forward has recently traveled to Belgium for a series of trials to showcase his abilities first-hand.

​Leuven’s technical staff are believed to be impressed by Ikechukwu’s display during his trial period. The club is now reportedly ready to enter formal discussions to secure his signature.
