Turkish giants Besiktas JK are interested in highly-rated Nigerian defender Quadri Oluwatobiloba Adewale, Footy-Africa can exclusively report.
The Nath Boys Football Academy prospect is currently in Turkey undergoing a trial with Besiktas U-19, as he looks to secure a move to one of the country’s biggest clubs.
Quadri, regarded as one of the promising young right-backs emerging from Nigeria, is expected to spend several weeks with the Istanbul side as the club conducts a detailed assessment of his abilities and long-term potential.
Should he impress during the trial period, the teenager could earn himself a permanent deal—potentially following in the footsteps of former Nath Boys academy graduate Wilfred Ndidi at the club.
Ndidi can help Besiktas challenge for trophies next season, says Shorunmu
Ndidi, who joined Besiktas JK after leaving Leicester City, has gone on to establish himself as one of the senior figures in the squad and currently serves as the club’s vice-captain.
The Nigeria international began his football journey at Nath Boys Football Academy in Lagos before securing a move to Belgian side Genk, where his performances paved the way for a high-profile transfer to Leicester City in the English Premier League.
For Quadri, the opportunity at Besiktas could represent the next major step in a promising young career.
