Bournemouth vs West Ham United Match Preview

Bournemouth head into this clash looking to secure a first win in three matches, having suffered back-to-back defeats against Manchester City and Aston Villa before the international break. The run of defeats has seen them drop to ninth on the standings, although they are just two points behind third-placed Chelsea.

The Cherries have won five of their opening 11 league games, recording three draws and losing just three times.

West Ham United, meanwhile, sealed a dramatic 3-2 win over Burnley in their last match to record consecutive victories in the league for the first time this season, having also defeated Newcastle United 3-1 prior to that.

The Hammers still find themselves in the relegation zone having won just three times this season, although a shock win at the Vitality Stadium could finally move them out of the drop zone.

Recent Form: Bournemouth

Bournemouth were previously one of the most in-form sides in the league, but have now suffered defeats in their last two matches.

The Cherries however have an impressive home form this season, winning four of their five matches, while also keeping three clean sheets in that run.

Recent Form: West Ham United

West Ham United have won their last two matches in the league, although they were winless in the six matches before that run.

The Hammers have won just once away from home this season, a 3-0 win over fellow strugglers Nottingham Forest, while they have not kept a clean sheet in their last eight outings.

Player to Watch: Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth)

Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo’s brilliant performances has made him one of the most in-demand players in the EPL.

The winger has provided nine goal contribution this season, and his pace and impressive dribbling will make him difficult to contain for the West Ham backline.
