Portuguese third-division side Louletano DC Futebol officially announced that Nigerian center-forward Okwara Chimaraoke “Chima” James has joined their ranks.

The 26-year-old arrived from CD Santa Clara, the team he joined on January, 1, but haven’t been able to secure his spot on the squad.

“After a season in the Azores representing Santa Clara, the Nigerian striker returns to Louletano eager to score. Welcome back,” the official announcement says.

The striker previously played for Louletano during the first half of the 2024/25 season.

Owerri-native moved from his home country six years ago, leaving Diamond Academy for Portuguese side Vilar Perdizes on a free transfer.

Since then, he had spells with Oliveira Frades, Câmara Lobos, Pevidém, Moncarapachense, and Louletano – all lower-tier Portuguese clubs.
